Gymnastics open gym starting soon
(Lawrence, Kan.) – The Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department will be offering Open Gym for children at the East Lawrence Recreation Center, Gymnastics Room, 1245 E. 15th St.
Preschool Open Gym is open to children 5 years-old and younger. It is scheduled 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Saturdays, Jan. 21, Feb. 4 and Feb. 18.
There is also Open Gym for children 6 years-old to 12 years-old held 7:30 to 9 p.m. Fridays, Jan. 27, Feb. 10 and Feb. 24
During Open Gym, children can work on the bars, beams, tumble track and ropes. Play will be unstructured, but supervised.
No registration is required but a parent/guardian needs to sign them in at the door. The fee is $5 per child. Exact payment is required at the door.
