Volleyball clinic registration being accepted
(Lawrence, Kan.) – Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department is accepting enrollment for the 2012 Girls Volleyball Clinic.
The clinic is open to girls who are in fourth grade through eighth grade and will cover the fundamentals, skills and rules of the game, assisting to prepare girls for school team competition.
The clinic will run 9 to 10:45 a.m. for girls in fourth grade through sixth grade and 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for girls in sixth through eighth grade. The clinic will be held on Saturdays, April 21, 28 and May 5.
All sessions will take place at East Lawrence Recreation Center, 1245 East 15th St. The cost to participate is $50 per girl, and includes a clinic t-shirt. Pre-registration is required. The registration deadline is Monday, April 16.
