Skatepark closed for improvements
(Lawrence, Kan.) – The skatepark at Centennial Park, 600 Rockledge Rd., is closed to the public while improvements are being made to the facility. Work is scheduled to be completed in approximately a month.
Recently, a public meeting was held to gather input on improvements desired. The Centennial Park skatepark was created in 1998 and was originally designed as a “street” course.
