33rd Annual Fall arts and Crafts Festival to be held
(Lawrence, Kan.) – Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department’s Special Events Division is hosting the 33rd annual Fall Arts and Crafts Festival 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 9, at South Park, 1141 Massachusetts St. The event is free and open to the public.

Artists and craftspeople from across the region are scheduled to exhibit their work.

There will also be special activities for children, including a moonwalk, food concessions, arts and crafts booths and King’s Miniature Pony Rides.

Musicians will also be performing on the William Kelly Bandstand throughout the afternoon. Scheduled to perform are:
11 a.m. – Modern Western Square Dance Demo         
Noon – Lawrence City Band              
1 p.m. – Billy Spears & the Beer Bellies
2 p.m. – Billy Ebeling & The Late For Dinner Band
3 p.m. – Lonnie Ray Blues Band
4 p.m. -  Foreverett
