National Gymnastics Day celebration to be held
(Lawrence, Kan.) - Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department will host a gymnastics open house in honor of National Gymnastics Day from 2-4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 22, at East Lawrence Recreation Center, 1245 E. 15th St.
The National Gymnastics Day event will have an open gym to give individuals the opportunity to work on their skills and try out different equipment. The open house will also include games, moonwalk, face painting and other demonstrations.
This event is free and open to individuals of all ages. Registration is not required.
