Boat Ramp To Close Temporarily For Improvements

BOAT RAMP TO CLOSE TEMPORARILY FOR IMPROVEMENTS
LAWRENCE – Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department’s Park District No. 3 announces the temporary closing of the boat ramp, located at 8th and Oak Streets, in Riverfront Park which is located along the Kansas River.
The ramp will be shutdown so work can be completed, extending the ramp to provide better access to the Kansas River. Work on the ramp is anticipated to be completed by Friday, Nov. 2.
