Commission to consider benefit district
(Lawrence, Kan.) – The City of Lawrence City Commission will consider the establishment of a special assessment benefit district to add an additional level on the parking garage to be constructed at 707 Vermont St. at its upcoming regular meeting, 6:35 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 11, at the City Hall Commission Room, 6 E. 6thSt.
The benefit district being proposed will include properties in the Central Business District. Information regarding the benefit district is available online at http://www.lawrenceks.org/proposed-benefit-district.
