UPDATE - Water main break at the northeast corner of 9th Street and Iowa
(Lawrence, Kan.) – The outside, northbound lane of Iowa, beginning south of 9th Street, will remain closed through Saturday, December 29, 2012 for roadway surface repairs due to a water main break. The repair of the water main break was completed yesterday evening but roadway repairs did not begin until is morning. Utilities crews are on site today to complete the repair of the roadway surface. The lane closure will remain in place until the roadway repair has cured and is ready for traffic. This is expected to be late in the day on Saturday.
