Fire line installation to close northbound Massachusetts on Monday
(Lawrence, Kan.) – The northbound lane of Massachusetts Street between 9th Street and 10th Street will be closed beginning Monday as Utilities crews install a fire sprinkler line. Traffic control devices will be set up to close the northbound lane of Massachusetts within the 900 block. The southbound lane of Massachusetts will remain open to traffic. No water customers will be without service. All affected customers in that block have been notified. The project is expected to be completed by next Thursday, January 10.
