Eagle Bend to host Amateur Junior Golf Championship next year
(Lawrence, Kan.) – Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department’s Eagle Bend Golf Course and Learning Center, 1250 E. 902 Rd., has been named the host of the 2014 Kansas Junior Amateur Golf Championship.The tournament will be held June 9-12, 2014, and is expected to include a field of around 150 golfers.
Eagle Bend is hosting the event for the second time in the tournaments 53-year history, previously hosting the event in 2005.
Founded in 1908, The Kansas Golf Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting and preserving the game of golf in the State of Kansas. The KGA conducts 17 State Championships annually, with thousands of Kansas golfers participating.
