Parks and Recreation facilities set to reopen tomorrow
 
(Lawrence, Kan.) – City of Lawrence Parks and Recreation Department facilities will reopen tomorrow Friday, Feb. 22, with their regular scheduled hours of operation, except for the Indoor Aquatic Center, which will open at 8 a.m.
 
Opening at 7 a.m. will be: East Lawrence Recreation Center, 1245 E. 15th St.; Holcom Park Recreation Center, 2700 W. 27th St. and the Community Building 115 W. 11th St.  
 
The Indoor Aquatic Center, 4706 Overland Drive, will open at 8 a.m. Lap swimming normally held at 5:15 to 7:45 a.m. has been canceled.
 
Prairie Park Nature Center, 2730 Harper St., will open at 9 a.m.
 
Programs and activities scheduled to meet after 8 a.m. will meet as scheduled.  Those programs scheduled prior to 8 a.m. will be canceled and made up at a later time. Information regarding make-ups will be provided to participants affected at a later date.
